The biggest airshow in Europe has returned to the Hinterstoisser air base on September 6/7 - only two years after the last event in 2022. We again presented historic ground motorization in front of the entrance to the Military Aviation Museum in Hangar 8.
While the first day was a little wet with intermittent showers, the second day saw the airbase again filled to the limit with aviation ethusiasts. Our display also raised a lot of interest and some sentimental memories - especially our "Kürassier" felt at home, since it originally belonged to the First Recon Battalion in Gratkorn and wore the Styrian "Panther" crest on its turret.
One of the highlights definitely was the possibility to see the only remaining flying Messerschmitt 262 up close.
